What differentiates the Zoo from Doué la Fontaine from other zoos is above all its environment. Located in an old quarry, this zoo enjoys an exceptional troglodytic setting where the rock holds a central place.
More than 130 species
Even with its spectacular setting, it is for its animals that you will take your family to the zoo of Doué la Fontaine. This zoo, which won 2nd place in the diamond Themepark Award in 2020, is home to more than 1,300 animals. Of the 130 species of animals represented, 38 are entering the European breeding programme to ensure their long-term survival. The zoo of Doué la Fontaine offers different visit options. For 3 hours, VIP tours will take you as close as possible to the animals of the zoo and even participate in feeding some.
